 I think this wig is what Chris wore on Halloween at school. Or that was his plan.

 His school did a 50s day to celebrate the 50th day of school for the year. He dressed up as a nerd. Isn't he such a cute nerd?

My Guy

Today is Chris's 25th birthday. Welcome to old age! 

I've already done my 100 reasons why I love Chris. And they all still stand. 

Anyone who knows Chris knows that he is unique. He laughs a lot, makes funny faces at the camera and sings loudly in the shower. He is a grammarian, a great big brother, and a fantastic driver. He likes Dr. Pepper, Sour Patch Straws and Outback SteakHouse. He doesn't like waking up, the unknown, or crazy Republicans.

He is my eternal companion, my best friend, my biggest fan, and my favorite person. 

I have known him for 10+ years and he just keeps getting better. 

I am not great with words like he is. But I love him a lot.

The Best Husband

I am going to brag about my husband. We haven't seen each other properly in 3 days. Our work schedules have been backwards and it has been crazy.

But in all of it he was still thinking of me. I told him I wanted a 120 count box of crayons and he went to the store the other night, after getting off work at 1:00 am just to get it for me. He didn't buy anything else. How cute is that?

As soon as he wakes up from his nap, we get to spend time together. But until then, I can color and know my husband loves me. And I love him loads.

Chris Says...

Chris had to take a test today for a class he has been taking for the past week. Afterwards he texted me:

"I finished. They way underestimated my intelligence. There's no way that test would take 2 hours. I finished in like 20 minutes."

I laughed when I got it. It is just so Chris.

Out of the Mouth of Chris

Chris was very talkative this morning. And by this morning I mean while he was still asleep.

Chris "I assume that this is going to cost $2000?
Me "What?"
Chris "The environment."
Me "The whole environment will cost $2000?
Chris ...back to sleep...

Waking a Sleeping Chris

Chris and I work together at the same place. It might be the only time in our life we get to do this and I really love going to work together and leaving together.

Because we work at the same time, we wake up at the same time. If anyone has every tried to wake Chris up, you'll agree when I say it is not easy.

But it can be funny. Here are some conversations we have had.

Me: Chris, you need to get up.
Chris: I can't.
Me: Why?
Chris: Because Randi said I'm not supposed to.

Another morning
Chris: (sitting up) Her name was Betty.
Me: Whose name is Betty?
Chris: (pausing)...I don' t know

One more.
Chris: Why did you say that Gwyenth Paltrow spends $150 mkaing fake eyelids?
Me: I didn't say that.

So every morning can be a little adventure and peak into what Chris is thinking about. I don't know who Betty is and Chris had some explaining to do. j/k
