Christmas Ornaments

This year I was a little obsessed with making Christmas ornaments. I spent a majority of Thanksgiving break doing it. I had the intention of giving them away on gifts, but I forgot about that. I still need to pass them out. 

These were some of the ones I made. 

While gathering supplies at Michael's one day, I saw the trains and figured they would be fun to paint. I convinced Chris to paint one also. And then we just got lots of wooden ornaments to paint. 

We are slowly expanding our ornament collection. I would love if most of them were handmade.

Tickled Sprouts

Okay, I have started an etsy site again. I have had this name for a while and finally decided to do something about it. I like to craft and like to make a lot of the same stuff. And I can't use it all. So I am going to try to sell some of it.

I will be adding all kinds of stuff all the time. Right now my obsession is fabric rosettes. Next I am thinking it will be bibs.

If anyone crochets or knits, you should check out this website.  There are tons of patterns. Some you have to pay for. But usually, there are tons of free ones almost exactly like the ones that have to be paid.

Also, you can find a pattern to anything. Even if you thought you didn't want to crochet it. Like a mug cozy, or a bikini and some other weird stuff.

More Hat

I have been practicing a lot on these hats trying to perfect them and get the sizing down. I really love crocheting and I am about ready to branch out to other things.

But here is my latest creation.

Black Friday

Black Friday was a good day for Chris and I. We went to Walmart, Target, Michael's and Best Buy. We added 20 DVD on TV to our collections. We finished our collections of Friends, The Office, and Supernatural. The best thing is we spent less than we saved.

And Chris got this for me as an early birthday present.
Except mine is in black. I love it so far and it does so much more than the normal Cricut. Too bad I have to spend all my time packing after today and can't use it until Christmas.

Only 19 more days until we move!

Card-Making Kick

I have been making lots of Christmas cards lately. It is a lot a fun and takes a lot of time. Here are just two of the ones I made.



Also, since it is now after Thanksgiving, I can start celebrating Christmas. I wish I could make all these Christmas crafts, but I have to start packing. Less than 3 weeks now until we move. I can't believe it is that soon.

And I really like it. Actually LOVE it. It is not perfect, but I have been practicing a lot and learning some new stitches and my beanies are getting better.

Right now all I want to do is craft. Sometimes I wish I could just quit my job and craft all day long. But I might get bored with that so I will just have to settle with doing it at night.
