Scholastic Warehouse Sale

 

Last Saturday, Chris and I went to a Scholastic Warehouse Sale. If you remember the Book Fairs that you had in Elementary School, they are usually run by Scholastic. They also print almost every children's book in the United States.

This is what I walked away. There was a build-a-box where you stuff a box full for $24.95. Plus every book was on sale for 25%-50% off. So I ended up getting 33 books for about $26.

 

If there hadn't been the build-a-box thing, it might not have been worth it. But outside of that section, the books where just 50% off. Which is still good, but it adds up fast. Chris didn't find a whole lot for his grade level in that section, but I did. He ended up getting Diary of a Wimpy kids books, which are very popular in school. 

The sale happens about twice a year and I think after a few more boxes, I will have a nice sized classroom library. 

Making Memories

They are having a warehouse sale next weekend. In Utah. Where I no longer live. But for anyone who is in Utah and wants to go here are the details.

I love their stuff. Especially their paper and brads and ribbon and small paper packs.

American Crafts

If there was ever a person who thought that I didn't have enough scrapbook stuff, you are wrong. I have a lot. This was all the stuff that I got at the American Crafts warehouse sale this last month.

I got so much stuff because I have moved from Utah and therefore will not be able to go to warehouse sales. I went to at least four this year: Making Memories (2x), Sassafrass, and American Crafts. But American Crafts will always be the best.

I got lots of cardstock, because I cannot justify spending $20 for 60 sheets. Thickers, patterned paper, ribbon, tons of stickers, and embossing powder. Plus some other things.

I am going to start to try and blog more about scrapbooking, to justify my spending. Hopefully I can get better at it.

American Crafts

Remember this?

It is happening again this year. Last year I remember hearing that it opened a day early for friends and family. So I searched so blogs and one of the designers for American Crafts confirmed that. Well, I don't know anybody there, so I though will they really kick me out if I don't really know anyone?

Well, I went during my lunch. I work like a mile away, and they did not kick me out. Then I went back tonight with Chris and Charleah. This is basically my Christmas present from Chris.

I'll post pictures later, but if you scrapbook you should go to this sale. I will probably go back again.

And this is one of four reasons I will miss Utah.
