The Pioneer Woman has been featuring a photography assignment the past week entitled "Coming Home." All the picture want to make me cry, especially those featuring children running towards their dad. I am grateful for all who have sacrifice and do sacrifice now for our county and for helping others all across the world.
Boyd K. Packer
"God bless the memory of those who have given their lives in the service of their country, and God bless those who languish in prison camps. May he sustain and bless them, those of every faith, and hasten the day of their release. God bless those whose bodies have been broken and whose minds have been injured, and particularly may he bless those who have fallen casualties of the moral ugliness that abounds when men will not live in peace. May he sustain those of you who have been bereft of a loved one, and speak to you of peace—that peace which surpasseth understanding."

LOST
Tonight is the night. I am so super duper excited to know what is going to happen. I am trying not to get my hopes too much just in case I get disappointed.
But still. T-minus 3.5 hours.

This is Texas Ya'll
We went four-wheeling with Chris's parents last weekend. (Which was on my 25 before 25 list.) It was a lot of fun and hot and muddy. Although they say it is a lot muddier in the fall.
But there were tons of rednecks at the ATV ranch we went to. Like at least a couple thousand because there was an event. I don't know exactly what the "event" was, but there was truck racing. There were these jacked up trucks racing through a couple hundred feet of mud. I've never seen this in real life, only the movies.
I don't know if I could watch more than a few minutes of it, but there were tons of people who were just lined up. And some of the trucks would get really really close to all the people lined up while the trucks tried to stop; I would be a little scared.
Even if I don't get it, it was still fun.

"I was also going to give a graduation speech in Arizona this weekend. But with my accent, I was afraid they would try to deport me."

50 miles
I decided last month that for the month of May I am going to run 50 miles. Yes, 50.
Me. The person who 2 years ago would say I could never become a runner. I hated it so much I just couldn't bring myself to do it. I still dislike it, but I like the way I feel when I am done.
So far for the month, I've done 13.5 miles. I am pretty sure I will hit 50 miles, maybe more.
I am still extremely slow, but at least I am doing it.
