Summer Movies

I think this might be the best summer ever for movies, and it already started this weekend.

Chris and I saw Wolverine. I have always been a huge X-men (movie) fan, and this did not disappoint. It even had twists-which every good story needs to have.

But that is not the only good movie this summer. For the next few weeks, there is a movie coming out every week that I want to see. I haven't been this excited to see a movie since High School Musical 3!

Star Trek- May 8

Angels and Demons- May 15 (Loved the book! Much better than the Da Vinci Code)

Terminator Salvation- May 21 (I think I want to see this movie. I might have to wait because I know Chris doesn't want to see it.)

Night at the Museum- May 22

"Check out this Gancho action over here. Boom! Boom! Fire Power!)

And this is all just in May.

Graduation

The day finally came. I finished all my requirements, took that stupid last final and I am graduated. I kind of miss it already. Everybody is talking about going to grad school and I am thinking maybe I should go to. But then I remember I would have to study for the GRE and I change my mind. But I am not completely ruling it out, I will probably change my mind someday.

My dad, mom and little brother came into town to celebrate with me. They were only here for 3 to 5 days, but it was so fun and felt longer. Chris did summary of everything we did here.

My parents got me Photoshop Elements for Mac- the full version. So I have been trying to learn it.

Houses

One thing I like to do for fun is look up MLS sites in websites in areas that we may move to in the future. Chris is looking at going to grad school in North Carolina- which is where I have always kind of wanted to live. Here is the house I found today- which is totally in our price range!

2009 March Madness

I finally won something! I came in first place in our work bracket for the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament.

Megan Joy

As I talked about before, Megan on American Idol cannot sucks. And she got eliminated tonight. So if you missed her dancing tonight, I guess you are going to have to wait awhile to see that again. Maybe she should try out for So You Think You Can Dance?

She got eliminated tonight, finally. Because of the stupid judges' save, she had to sing to impress them and maybe she would get to stay.

Not so according to Simon Cowell who said "I'm not going to pretend that we're even going to contemplate saving you."

Not like her performance would have saved her. She forgot the words.

Oops!

I forgot I posted already today. But I am here, so enjoy two in one day!

This stinks. Basically, everybody who applied to UC San Diego got an email telling them they were accepted. And then 29,000 students got an email saying it was a mistake. Oops is right!

Monday

So I got my root canal on Monday. I am horrible afraid of anything that has to deal with the dentist or doctor. I didn't cry this time when I found out I needed a root canal. Last time, I almost had a panic attack.

When I was younger, I would wish that I could get shots and things while I was sleeping. My dentist has the option to be orally sedated. I took a pill an hour before my appointment, then they gave me two pills when I got there and then another one right before they started. Plus, I was on laughing gas. So basically, I was sleeping. I was conscious enough to open and close my mouth, but that was it.

The appointment lasted three hours and then I came home and was out until 7am the next morning. Well, not really out. I guess I ate and watched House and talked to Chris about stuff. I am still asking Chris if something really happened or if it was a dream.

I am hoping I never have to get dental surgery again. But, unfortunately I think I am cursed with bad teeth. Even though I floss!

Root Canal

I almost forgot that I have a root canal tomorrow.

I almost made plans to make an elaborate dinner. I almost had plans to work out at the gym for 2 hours.

I almost had plans to have a very productive day at work tomorrow.

However, I told myself to forget about the root canal so I wouldn't spend all week worrying. Which I did, until this morning. Now I am spending the day worrying about stupid root canal and five cavities I have to get filled tomorrow. 

At least I will be sedated. Oral sedation is the only reason I go to my dentist.
